You know, someone once asked me at a conference what type of
writing I did, and I gave her a brilliantly insightful
"little-bit-of-this-little-bit-of-that" reply. "You’re a harlot just
like the rest of us!" another writer crowed. I prefer to think of myself as a sort of
writing gypsy |
traveling from place to place (or
from publication to publication, if you will), doing a poetry spell here or a prose spell
there and selling the villagers lots of writing magic.
Actually, that’s not a helluva lot different from my friend
Dusty’s harlot image, is it? But it sounds better, and that’s a good part of
what the writing business is all about.Please
